Noxious Weed/Grass Notice

Village of Lena

Oconto County

Every person is required by law to destroy all the following noxious weeds growing on land in the Village of Lena, Oconto County, Wisconsin, owned, operated, or controlled by that person:

                1. Canada thistle

                2. Leafy spurge

                3. Field bindweed (Creeping Jenny)

4. Any other weeds that have been declared noxious by the Village Board or County Board by resolution or ordinance, naming them.

5. Per Village Ordinance 134 lawns need to be maintained. This includes the area along sidewalk and curb and trimming around buildings, trees, etc.

This above stated notifications constitute the entire obligation of the Village of Lena to notify property owners.
