Lena – Take a step into the past and enjoy an old fashion holiday tradition with a horse drawn wagon ride through the Village of Lena on Saturday December 2nd. Davister Sunny Point Stables will be providing horse drawn wagon rides from 5-7 p.m.  starting at the Village Hall. This is just one of many things planned for the Village of Lights.  Bring your whole family to start the holiday season. The American Legion Auxiliary will be having children send Christmas cards to a veteran starting at 2:30 p.m. The Lena Public Library has a family movie and children’s crafts at 3 p.m. Santa, sponsored by Lena PTO, arrives at the Lena Village Hall at 5 p.m. Be sure to stop at the Wooden Shoe to decorate your Christmas cookie.  Various businesses will have specials and the annual bingo card is back for the adults with a chance to win a VISA card to help with you holiday shopping. Lena FFA will be selling wreaths and poinsettias to brighten any home or business. So mark your calendars and get your holiday spirit started with Lena’s Village of Lights.
